Obsidian Veil
The Obsidian Veil is a highly secretive black operations organization operating throughout the Omicron Galaxy, associated with dangerous experiments, disappearances, anomalous research, and covert operations.
Very little is publicly known about the organization. Information surrounding its personnel, facilities, objectives, and internal structure is frequently classified, erased, manipulated, or simply unavailable.
Unlike conventional military powers such as the Hell Hosts, Free World Order, or Angel Swords, the Obsidian Veil rarely engages in open warfare. Instead, the organization operates through covert missions, experimental research, infiltration, intelligence gathering, kidnapping, and the recovery of anomalous technology.
The Obsidian Veil has demonstrated a particular interest in Element 95, ancient technology, biological transformation, dimensional phenomena, and other anomalous forces throughout the galaxy.
Its operations have taken personnel into dangerous regions and brought the organization into repeated conflict with the Hell Hosts and other factions attempting to investigate its activities.
During the Power Unbound era, the Obsidian Veil became directly involved in several major incidents.
The organization kidnapped Destiny from the Hell Host Endeavor and held her for nine months within an Obsidian Veil facility. Although the Hell Hosts eventually located the facility and rescued her, the reason she was targeted remains unknown.
Obsidian Veil personnel were later encountered within the Ashen Kingdom during the operation that resulted in Blood’s Ascension. Blood had been tracking Obsidian Veil forces when he was shot during the confrontation and fell into the volcanic depths of the region.
Despite these encounters, the larger objectives of the Obsidian Veil remain poorly understood.
At the center of the organization is an individual or entity known only as The Founder. Very little reliable information exists regarding the Founder’s identity, history, or ultimate objectives.
The Obsidian Veil is feared not because of the territory it controls or the size of its armies, but because of what it knows and what it is willing to investigate.

Notable Incidents
Destiny’s Kidnapping
The Obsidian Veil kidnapped Destiny from the Hell Host Endeavor and held her for approximately nine months.
The Hell Hosts eventually discovered the facility where she was being held and launched an assault to recover her.
Although Destiny survived, the purpose behind her kidnapping remains unknown.
Blood’s Ascension
Obsidian Veil personnel were operating within the Ashen Kingdom when Blood was sent to track their movements.
During a confrontation with Obsidian Veil forces, Blood was shot and fell into the volcanic depths of the region.
Rather than dying, Blood underwent an Ascension Event and eventually became the Ashen Lord.
The Obsidian Veil did not intentionally cause Blood’s Ascension, and the true reason for his survival and transformation remains unknown.
