Free World Order
The Free World Order, commonly referred to as Free World, is a powerful militant faction within the Omicron Galaxy founded by Onyx following his betrayal of William Grant.
Originally developing through criminal, mercenary, and militant activity, the Free World Order rapidly grew into one of the largest rivals of the Hell Hosts. The faction operates across numerous systems and combines conventional military force with black market influence, specialist soldiers, sabotage, and unconventional warfare.
Unlike the heavily structured military organization of the Hell Hosts or the religious doctrine of the Angel Swords, the Free World Order places greater emphasis on independence, survival, mobility, and freedom from outside control.
Members of the faction have presented themselves as opponents of larger powers and restrictive governments, although the Free World Order has also become associated with violent military campaigns, criminal activity, assassination, and the pursuit of its own influence throughout the galaxy.
The faction became particularly infamous for its conflict with the Hell Hosts. Years of hostility eventually escalated into the Hell Host–Free World War, one of the largest conflicts between the two factions.
The war ultimately ended during the Rainfall Execution, when the Hell Hosts defeated Free World forces and several senior members were captured and executed. Despite the defeat, the Free World Order itself survived.
Following the war, Onyx disappeared for a period of time. During his absence, former Hell Host soldier Ultimatum assumed temporary leadership of the faction.
Under Ultimatum, the growing threat of the Angel Swords resulted in an unexpected temporary alliance between the Free World Order and Hell Hosts. Former enemies began conducting operations together and eventually fought alongside one another during the Hell Host–Angel Sword War.
Following the defeat and dispersal of the Angel Swords, personnel from both factions gathered during the Cabin Gathering, marking a rare period of cooperation between the two organizations.
Onyx later returned and Ultimatum relinquished leadership of the Free World Order, ending his period as acting leader.
Despite periods of cooperation, the Free World Order remains an independent faction with its own interests, military forces, and history of conflict with the Hell Hosts.
