The Elysarian Dominion

The Elysarian Dominion is an ancient interstellar civilization composed of seven powerful kingdoms united beneath a single ruler known as the First Crown (Queen Aeloria). Predating nearly all modern galactic powers, the Dominion existed thousands of years before the rise of factions such as the Hell Hosts, Free World Order, and Obsidian Veil.

Unlike traditional empires built through conquest alone, the Dominion was formed through the unification of specialized kingdoms devoted to different disciplines including warfare, restoration, forging, dimensional study, diplomacy, arcane mastery, and exploration. Though each kingdom maintained its own rulers, traditions, and territories, all ultimately answered to the authority of the First Crown.

At the height of its power, the Dominion was considered the greatest civilization in known existence.

The Dominion’s influence stretched across vast regions of space located beyond the northern reaches of the modern galaxy, above many of the major known regions surrounding the Omicron Galaxy. Even in the modern era, most civilizations avoid provoking the Dominion directly due to its immense technological and military capabilities.

The Elysarians are a humanoid species commonly referred to as elves by other civilizations. While all Elysarians share common ancestry, each kingdom developed subtle biological and cultural distinctions over thousands of years, resulting in differences in appearance, architecture, traditions, and specialized abilities.

The First Crown

Queen Aeloria

The ruler of the Dominion and one of the most powerful beings in known history.

Unlike Ascended beings transformed through corruption or anomalous mutation, Aeloria’s abilities are ancient, stable, and deeply aligned with reality itself. She possessed immense mastery over restoration, dimensional manipulation, portal creation, emotional perception, and arcane energy.

Rather than ruling through fear, Aeloria unified the kingdoms through diplomacy, wisdom, and balance. Her title — the First Crown — symbolized that she ruled not above the kingdoms, but as the force that bound them together.

At some point thousands of years ago, Queen Aeloria mysteriously vanished.

Her disappearance fractured the Dominion and marked the end of its golden age.

Many suspect hidden forces connected to The Founder and the Obsidian Veil were responsible.

History

Before the Dominion

Before unification, the Elysarian kingdoms existed as independent powers frequently divided by territorial disputes, ideological conflicts, and political rivalries. Though highly advanced, they remained fractured for centuries.

This changed with the arrival of Queen Aeloria.

The Unification Wars

Not all kingdoms accepted Aeloria’s vision peacefully. Some resisted her growing influence, leading to a long period known as the Unification Wars.

Over decades, the kingdoms gradually united beneath a single banner through diplomacy, necessity, and warfare.

This eventually led to the formation of the Elysarian Dominion.

The Age of Harmony

Following unification, the Dominion entered a golden age of prosperity and advancement.

During this era:

  • interstellar portal networks connected distant systems
  • warfare between kingdoms diminished
  • restoration arts flourished
  • living cities expanded across entire worlds
  • dimensional sciences advanced dramatically
  • ancient archives and knowledge were unified

Many technologies and myths within the modern galaxy unknowingly trace their origins back to this era.

The Ancient War Against Element 95

Thousands of years before the modern era, the Dominion became the first known civilization to encounter large-scale Element 95 corruption.

Entire systems suffered from:

  • dimensional instability
  • mutations
  • undeath
  • corrupted storms
  • reality fractures
  • disappearing settlements

The earliest forms of the Veil and portions of the Voidlands are believed to have originated during this period.

Realizing the scale of the threat, Queen Aeloria united the kingdoms once again against extinction itself.

Over centuries of war, the Dominion succeeded in:

  • sealing corrupted regions
  • stabilizing dimensional tears
  • destroying massive quantities of Element 95
  • preserving reality from total collapse

Much of the knowledge surrounding Element 95 was intentionally hidden afterward to prevent future misuse.

Technology & Society

The Elysarians possess some of the most advanced technologies in existence, blending:

  • dimensional engineering
  • arcane sciences
  • restoration systems
  • living architecture
  • portal networks
  • ancient energy manipulation

Their technology often appears elegant, ceremonial, and almost organic compared to modern industrial civilizations.

Ascension Chambers

During the Ancient War, the Dominion constructed ancient sanctuaries and dimensional systems later referred to by modern civilizations as Ascension Chambers.

Unlike unstable modern Ascensions caused by corruption, these chambers were designed to:

  • stabilize dangerous energies
  • preserve consciousness
  • create controlled transformations
  • contain dimensional instability

Known chambers were involved in:

Current State

Following the disappearance of Queen Aeloria, the Dominion slowly fractured over thousands of years.

The kingdoms still exist, but many have become:

  • politically isolated
  • divided in ideology
  • distrustful of outsiders
  • uncertain about reunification

Some seek to restore the Dominion to its former glory.

Others believe the age of unity has ended forever.

However, with the return of:

many fear the ancient war may soon begin again.
