Voidlands

The Voidlands are an ancient and highly unstable cosmic region located beyond the Farlands, where corrupted space gives way to complete reality distortion. Unlike the violent mutation and biological corruption seen within the Farlands, the Voidlands are defined by impossible physics, dimensional instability, and the influence of ancient Void Civilizations that predate the known laws of the universe.

The region is considered one of the most dangerous locations within the Omicron Galaxy. Gravity behaves selectively, time fractures unpredictably, sound can travel without source, and space itself folds inward without warning. Despite these anomalies, the Voidlands possess an eerie and unnatural stillness, as though the region itself is conscious and observing those who enter it.

The Voidlands are believed to have existed before the universe stabilized into its current physical laws. Vast non-Euclidean megastructures, impossible geometries, and “shaped spaces” — artificial pocket realms created by Void Architects — are scattered throughout the region.

Travel through the Voidlands is nearly impossible using conventional technology. Standard engines and faster-than-light systems fail within the region, requiring teleportation systems, Void-tier navigation, or cosmically augmented vessels to safely traverse its space.

The region contains immeasurable wealth, ancient artifacts, limitless energy sources, and forgotten technologies. However, these are fiercely protected by the Void Civilizations, powerful factions capable of manipulating matter, geometry, and reality itself.

The Voidlands are also believed to share deep connections with The Veil, dimensional anomalies, and ancient pre-cosmic events hidden from most known civilizations.
