Angel Swords

The Angel Swords are a powerful religious and military faction within the Omicron Galaxy, known for their holy crusades, elite warriors, advanced fleets, and devotion to sacred doctrine. As one of the oldest major powers in known space, the faction has controlled numerous fortified worlds and maintained enormous influence throughout the Outer Rim.

Unlike the industrial militarism of the Hell Hosts, the Angel Swords are built upon faith, tradition, and divine authority. Their armies are highly disciplined and often view warfare as a sacred duty rather than simple conquest. Many within the faction believe they were chosen to preserve order and protect the galaxy from corruption, chaos, and existential threats.

The Angel Swords possess highly advanced military technology, including powerful energy weaponry, heavily armoured fleets, and elite warrior divisions. Their worlds are heavily defended and often constructed around enormous cathedrals, military fortresses, and sacred monuments.

The faction also possesses a strong interest in ancient relics, anomalous technology, and powerful artifacts. Angel Sword expeditions have ventured into dangerous regions such as the Farlands and Voidlands in search of objects and knowledge connected to forces such as Element 95.

During the Power Unbound era, the Angel Swords’ pursuit of increasingly powerful weapons and their growing concern over the Hell Hosts’ connection to Element 95 contributed to escalating tensions between the two factions.

These tensions eventually erupted into the Hell Host–Angel Sword War. The Angel Swords fought against the combined forces of the Hell Hosts and Free World Order across numerous systems, with major battles taking place around Joshua and Genesis.

Despite deploying their armies, fleets, elite warriors, and defensive forces on an enormous scale, the Angel Swords were eventually overwhelmed. Rather than allowing their remaining forces to be systematically destroyed, surviving Angel Sword fleets, soldiers, and leadership scattered throughout the galaxy.

The war significantly weakened the faction as a concentrated military power, but did not destroy it. Surviving Angel Sword forces continue to exist across the galaxy, making the faction far more dispersed than it had been before the war.

The Angel Swords are also closely allied with Kosander, whose military forces have fought alongside them during major conflicts.
