The attackers rapidly overpower the Hell Host forces aboard the Endeavor.
Destiny is taken alive.
The attackers are later revealed to be members of the Obsidian Veil, although their motives for specifically targeting Destiny are initially unknown.
Her disappearance begins a nine-month period in which her location and fate remain unknown.
Story
Supply Run
Destiny is stationed aboard the HH Endeavor while assisting with a Hell Host supply run.
The operation is considered routine, with the Endeavor transporting supplies as part of the enormous logistical network supporting Hell Host forces.
There is little indication that the ship or its crew are about to become the target of an attack.
The Attack
During the operation, the HH Endeavor is suddenly attacked.
Masked individuals board the ship and engage the Hell Host personnel aboard.
Despite resistance from the crew, the attackers overwhelm the ship with alarming speed.
Their identities and origins are initially unclear.
The attackers are members of the Obsidian Veil.
The Kidnapping
During the assault, the Obsidian Veil captures Destiny.
Rather than killing her during the attack, they take her alive and escape with her.
The reason Destiny was targeted is not immediately known.
By the time Hell Hosts regain control of the situation, Victoria is gone.
Nine Months
Destiny’s disappearance begins one of the most significant missing-person cases within Hell Hosts.
Despite their enormous military reach and resources, Hell Hosts are unable to immediately locate her or determine exactly where she has been taken.
Victoria remains missing for nine months.
Her disappearance has a particularly significant effect on Predator, both as leader of Hell Hosts and as her father.
During her absence, the name Victoria becomes memorialised within Hell Hosts through the HH Victoria, which is named after her while her fate remains unknown.
