The Bleeding Abyss

The Bleeding Abyss is a catastrophic cosmic region born from the spread of Deatherium, an unstable and violently destructive substance believed to be far more dangerous than Element 95. Often described as the older and more aggressive counterpart to The Veil, the Bleeding Abyss represents the collapse of reality through uncontrolled entropy, mutation, and cosmic decay.

Unlike the calm and interconnected environments of the Veil, the Bleeding Abyss is defined by endless destruction. Entire star systems within the region appear fractured, burning, or partially consumed by unstable Deatherium growths. Gravity tears open without warning, stars collapse unnaturally, and planets are reduced to drifting debris fields surrounded by violent crimson storms.

Deatherium behaves far differently from Element 95. Rather than linking consciousness, it aggressively consumes matter, energy, and identity itself. Exposure commonly results in violent mutation, mental collapse, or complete biological destruction. In heavily contaminated zones, reality itself begins to break apart.

The region became increasingly active following the awakening of The Forsaken Monarch, an ancient entity believed to embody collapse and entropy within the Abyss. Since its return, reports of expanding Crimson Zones, dimensional tears, and Deatherium outbreaks have spread across nearby sectors.

The Bleeding Abyss is considered one of the greatest existential threats within the galaxy. While the Veil seeks assimilation, the Abyss seeks annihilation.
