The Witness
The Witness is a mysterious cosmic entity associated with The Veil, regarded by many as one of the most terrifying and poorly understood beings within the history of the Omicron Galaxy. Very little verified information exists regarding its true nature, origin, or intentions, and much of what is known comes from fragmented records, corrupted transmissions, survivor testimonies, and Obsidian Veil research logs.
Unlike conventional rulers or cosmic entities, the Witness does not appear to govern through armies or direct conquest. Instead, its influence spreads through consciousness, perception, and connection. Those exposed to the influence of the Witness often report hearing whispers, experiencing shared thoughts, losing their sense of individuality, or feeling an overwhelming sense of calm and understanding.
The Witness is believed to have played a direct role in shaping or awakening The Veil following advanced interactions between Element 95 and higher-dimensional forces. Many researchers theorize that the Veil itself acts as an extension of the Witness’s consciousness.
Very few individuals are known to have encountered the Witness directly. Descriptions vary wildly between accounts, ranging from a floating spectral figure to a massive cosmic presence existing beyond physical form entirely.
