Era 1 — The Fractured Stars
The Fractured Stars marks the beginning of the central story of the Omicron Galaxy and establishes many of the factions, conflicts, and individuals that would shape later eras.
Unlike the increasingly anomalous and cosmic conflicts of later history, the era is primarily defined by political instability, military conflict, rebellion, betrayal, and the formation of new powers.
At the centre of the era are William Grant and Michael Cross, whose early friendship and experiences together eventually develop into one of the most important rivalries in modern galactic history.
As conflict between the Terrorism Control Agency and Free Order Rebellion intensifies, William and Michael become increasingly involved in a rapidly changing political and military landscape.
Their relationship ultimately collapses when Michael betrays William.
Michael eventually becomes known as Onyx and establishes the Free World Order, creating a new power separate from both the TCA and FOR.
The growing conflict eventually culminates in the events of Virex Prime. Faced with the threat posed by the Free World Order, surviving forces from the Terrorism Control Agency and Free Order Rebellion are forced to cooperate.
Their cooperation ultimately leads to the formation of the Hell Hosts.
William does not found the Hell Hosts or immediately assume command. Instead, he joins the newly formed faction as an ordinary soldier.
Following the death of Monster and the disappearance of Jordan Thompson, William gradually rises through the organization and eventually becomes known as Predator, emerging as one of the most important figures in Hell Host history.
By the end of The Fractured Stars, the foundations of the modern galactic balance of power have been established.
The friendship between William Grant and Michael Cross has become a rivalry between Predator and Onyx.
The Free World Order has risen.
The Hell Hosts have been formed.
And conflicts that began between individuals will eventually grow into wars involving entire civilizations.
