Outer Rim

The Outer Rim refers to the distant frontier regions located beyond the heavily populated Core Systems. Known for lawlessness, unstable colonies, dangerous trade routes, and unexplored sectors, the Outer Rim has long served as a haven for mercenaries, smugglers, pirates, and independent settlements.

Unlike the structured governments and corporations of the Core Systems, authority within the Outer Rim is limited and often inconsistent. Many worlds operate independently, while others are controlled by local militias, criminal syndicates, or occupying factions.

The Outer Rim became increasingly unstable during the rise of the Terrorism Control Agency and the Free Order Rebellion, as both groups fought for influence across frontier systems.

Despite its dangers, the region remains vital to trade, exploration, and resource extraction throughout the galaxy.
