Protection and Crime Enforcement
The Protection and Crime Enforcement, commonly abbreviated as PCE, is a major interstellar law enforcement and security organization operating throughout the Core Systems of the Omicron Galaxy.
Originally established to combat piracy, organized crime, terrorism, and corporate corruption, the PCE gradually developed into one of the largest policing and investigative organizations within the Core Systems.
Unlike major military powers such as the Hell Hosts or Angel Swords, the PCE primarily focuses on civilian protection, criminal investigation, intelligence gathering, law enforcement, and maintaining stability across populated systems.
Its influence is particularly strong throughout major civilian and commercial regions such as the Prioxis System, where enormous trade networks, corporations, criminal organizations, and civilian populations require extensive law enforcement operations.
The organization maintains investigators, detectives, patrol officers, intelligence personnel, tactical response teams, specialist units, and security fleets. As anomalous activity throughout the galaxy has increased, some PCE personnel have also encountered cases involving ancient technology, black market weapons, unexplained disappearances, and anomalous phenomena.
Despite its public role as a law enforcement organization, the PCE has faced accusations of corruption, excessive force, political influence, and covert relationships with powerful corporations and criminal organizations. Internal disagreements have created tension between personnel attempting to uphold the organization’s intended purpose and individuals using its authority for political or financial interests.
During the Power Unbound era, the PCE became increasingly relevant as the Hell Hosts expanded their presence throughout the Prioxis System.
The organization also became involved in one of the era’s most significant anomalous investigations when PCE detective Robert Anderson travelled to Nerevos while investigating the disappearance of Mick Holder.
Anderson’s investigation eventually led to the discovery of a damaged ancient Elysarian Ascension Chamber. Its activation resulted in Anderson undergoing an Ascension Event, transforming what began as a missing-person investigation into one of the most unusual cases associated with the PCE.

Notable Cases
Nerevos Investigation
PCE detective Robert Anderson travelled to Nerevos while investigating the disappearance of Mick Holder.
The investigation led Anderson to abandoned ruins and the discovery of a damaged ancient Elysarian Ascension Chamber.
Anderson survived the chamber’s activation but emerged fundamentally changed, developing abilities connected to perception, anomalous phenomena, and altered understanding of reality.
Holder remained missing.
The incident became one of the most significant anomalous cases associated with Robert Anderson and the PCE.
