Vor-Na’Thul

The Throne Where Nothing Begins

Vor-Na’Thul is the capital of the Voidlands and one of the most incomprehensible structures in known existence.

It is not a city in any conventional sense.

Vor-Na’Thul is a colossal non-Euclidean megastructure approximately the size of a small moon, suspended deep within the core regions of the Voidlands where normal reality begins to fail completely.

Ancient records suggest the structure predates:

  • modern civilizations
  • The Elysarian Dominion
  • the formation of current physical laws
  • and possibly even the stabilized universe itself

Many believe Vor-Na’Thul was not built within reality—

But before reality fully solidified into its current form.

Within the Voidlands, it is known as:

The Throne Where Nothing Begins.

The Deep Void

Vor-Na’Thul exists at the deepest known point of the Voidlands, a region where:

  • physics weakens
  • dimensional laws collapse
  • causality becomes unstable
  • and reality is gradually replaced by what many scholars call:

Void Laws.

Within these regions:

  • distance behaves inconsistently
  • geometry loses meaning
  • time flows unpredictably
  • perception becomes unreliable
  • and thought itself may influence physical space

Conventional navigation is almost impossible.

Most vessels attempting direct approach never return.

Structure

Vor-Na’Thul’s architecture cannot be fully understood by normal perception.

The structure appears to contain:

  • impossible angles
  • recursive corridors
  • infinite interior spaces
  • shifting geometry
  • suspended platforms with no visible support
  • living void-material
  • structures existing simultaneously in multiple states

Observers frequently report:

  • rooms larger internally than externally possible
  • pathways leading into themselves
  • staircases descending upward
  • entire sectors disappearing while observed
  • architecture reacting to thought or emotion

Many who study visual recordings of the structure experience:

  • migraines
  • hallucinations
  • memory loss
  • perceptual instability
  • severe psychological distress

Void Laws

The region surrounding Vor-Na’Thul operates under principles entirely separate from normal physics.

Known anomalies include:

  • gravity inversion
  • localized time collapse
  • spontaneous spatial recursion
  • matter instability
  • consciousness bleed
  • non-linear causality
  • perception-linked environmental change

Some researchers believe the Voidlands are not corrupted space—

But remnants of reality before existence stabilized.

The Throne Core

At the center of Vor-Na’Thul lies an inaccessible region known only as:

The Throne Core

No confirmed expedition has ever reached it.

The Core is believed to contain:

  • the origin of Void activity
  • an ancient intelligence
  • a gateway beyond conventional reality
  • or the true seat of The Witness

Some cults claim the Throne Core is not a location—
but a state of existence.

Relationship to The Witness

Many believe Vor-Na’Thul serves as the primary nexus of influence for:

The Witness

Across the Voidlands, psychic transmissions and Veil-linked manifestations become dramatically stronger closer to the structure.

Some theories suggest:

  • the Witness resides within Vor-Na’Thul
  • the structure itself is alive
  • the city acts as a consciousness amplifier
  • or Vor-Na’Thul is the Witness.

No theory has ever been confirmed.

The Voidbound

The regions surrounding Vor-Na’Thul are inhabited by entities collectively referred to as:

The Voidbound

These beings display:

  • distorted anatomy
  • unstable forms
  • fragmented consciousness
  • partial synchronization with Void Laws

Some appear humanoid.

Others do not resemble known life at all.

Many entities encountered near Vor-Na’Thul seem only partially physical, flickering between states of existence.

Exploration Attempts

Very few factions have attempted direct exploration of Vor-Na’Thul.

Known expeditions involving:

  • Obsidian Veil
  • rogue Farlands cults
  • forbidden research groups
  • deep anomaly expeditions

have almost universally ended in:

  • disappearance
  • madness
  • temporal inconsistency
  • or complete communication loss

Recovered recordings are often physically impossible.

Elysarian Knowledge

Ancient Elysarian Dominion archives contain fragmented warnings regarding Vor-Na’Thul.

Unlike their campaigns against Element 95, the Dominion never attempted direct assault or containment of the structure.

Several surviving records simply state:

“Do not descend beneath the last threshold.”

Much of the remaining information was intentionally erased.

Reputation

Across the galaxy, Vor-Na’Thul is regarded as:

  • the heart of the Voidlands
  • the deepest known anomaly in existence
  • a place where reality no longer applies
  • the possible throne of The Witness
  • one of the most feared locations in the universe

Among Voidlands survivors, one warning is repeated more than any other:

“The deeper you go, the less the universe remembers you.”
