Hell Host Arsenal

The Hell Host Arsenal encompasses the enormous range of ballistic, energy, incendiary, explosive, and specialist weapons fielded by the Hell Hosts.

Rather than relying exclusively on advanced energy technology, Hell Host military doctrine deliberately maintains a mixture of conventional ballistic firearms and more sophisticated weapon systems. Ballistic weapons remain dependable, comparatively easy to maintain, and effective across an enormous range of environments, while energy and hybrid weapons provide capabilities conventional firearms cannot easily replicate.

Many Hell Host weapons are designed as families rather than individual fixed configurations. The same weapon may therefore appear with different optics, stocks, barrels, ammunition systems, environmental protection, or electronic packages depending on the unit operating it.

Certain weapons are available throughout the military, while others are strongly associated with specialist battalions and elite formations.

Service Rifles and Carbines

94CAR

Full Designation: Model 94 Combat Automatic Rifle
Type: Automatic Service Rifle
Role: General Infantry Weapon
Issue: Widespread

The 94CAR is one of the most recognizable weapons in the Hell Host military and serves as a standard general-purpose rifle across numerous combat formations.

Designed around reliability, controllability, and extensive modularity, the 94CAR can be configured for conventional infantry combat, reconnaissance, hostile-environment deployment, shipboard defense, and specialist operations.

Its long service history and enormous production numbers have resulted in numerous variants. Different configurations may incorporate specialized optics, environmental sealing, alternate ammunition, shortened assemblies, targeting equipment, or unit-specific modifications.

Despite the development of considerably more advanced weapons, the 94CAR remains widespread because it does exactly what the Hell Hosts require of a service rifle:

It works.

CR-556

Full Designation: CR-556 Combat Rifle
Type: Modular Combat Rifle
Role: Mobile Infantry / Close-to-Medium Range
Issue: Widespread

The CR-556 is a lightweight modular combat rifle commonly encountered throughout the Hell Hosts.

Compared with the heavier general-purpose 94CAR, the CR-556 prioritizes handling, adaptability, and mobility. Its compact design has made it particularly popular among assault troops, airborne personnel, reconnaissance units, vehicle crews, and soldiers operating within confined environments.

The weapon supports extensive modification and exists in numerous configurations ranging from compact carbines to specialist battlefield variants.

It is one of the most frequently customized firearms in Hell Host service.

ZT-557

Type: Conventional Service Rifle
Role: General Infantry / Harsh Environment Operations
Issue: Common

The ZT-557 represents a deliberately conventional approach to infantry weapon design.

Its operating principles descend from firearm designs used by humanity centuries before the formation of the Hell Hosts. While virtually every component has been modernized, the fundamental philosophy remains familiar: rugged construction, simple operation, dependable ballistic firepower, and easy field maintenance.

The ZT-557 lacks many of the sophisticated systems found aboard newer rifles, but this simplicity has become one of its greatest advantages.

Soldiers have carried the weapon through environments where more complicated equipment failed.

365 SP-AR “SPAR”

Full Designation: 365 Specialist Assault Rifle
Type: Hybrid Ballistic / Directed-Energy Rifle
Role: Specialist Infantry
Issue: Restricted

Commonly known as the SPAR, the 365 SP-AR is an advanced hybrid rifle designed for personnel expected to encounter radically different threats during the same operation.

The weapon combines a conventional ballistic firing system with an integrated directed-energy system.

Ballistic fire provides dependable conventional firepower while consuming comparatively little electrical power. The energy system can instead be employed against heavily protected personnel, synthetic targets, specialized materials, and other threats where conventional ammunition may prove inefficient.

The versatility comes at a cost. The SPAR is considerably more expensive and maintenance-intensive than conventional service rifles, and repeated energy discharge generates substantial heat.

It is consequently issued primarily to specialist formations rather than standard infantry.

Precision Weapons

MR-102E

Full Designation: MR-102E Marksman Rifle
Type: Semi-Automatic Precision Rifle
Role: Designated Marksman / Reconnaissance
Issue: Specialist

The MR-102E bridges the gap between conventional infantry rifles and dedicated sniper systems.

Designed for rapid precision fire at ranges beyond those normally expected of standard service weapons, it is commonly carried by designated marksmen, reconnaissance personnel, and security formations.

Unlike heavier sniper systems, the MR-102E remains practical during mobile infantry operations and can engage multiple targets without lengthy weapon cycling or charging procedures.

M138G

Full Designation: M138G Energy Sniper Rifle
Type: Directed-Energy Precision Rifle
Role: Long-Range Precision Engagement
Issue: Specialist

The M138G is a dedicated precision energy weapon used by Hell Host marksmen.

Rather than launching a conventional projectile, the rifle delivers a concentrated energy discharge capable of producing extreme localized damage with almost no ballistic travel time across normal engagement distances.

The system is particularly effective against exposed personnel, sensitive equipment, and certain forms of protective technology.

Its principal limitation is thermal management. Repeated firing causes significant heat accumulation, forcing experienced operators to carefully control their engagement rhythm.

333 HCS

Full Designation: 333 High-Calibre Sniper
Type: Heavy Precision Rifle
Role: Anti-Personnel / Anti-Materiel
Issue: Specialist

The 333 HCS is a heavy sniper system designed when penetration and destructive force are considered more important than firing speed.

Its enormous ammunition provides substantially greater impact than standard precision weapons and allows experienced operators to engage hardened targets, powered infantry, light equipment, and personnel behind cover.

This power comes with considerable weight, recoil, and slow ammunition handling.

The 333 HCS is therefore rarely chosen for rapid engagements.

When one shot absolutely has to matter, however, few conventional sniper systems are more respected.

47T HBR

Full Designation: 47T Heavy Ballistic Rifle
Type: Anti-Materiel Sniper Rifle
Role: Hardened Target Elimination
Issue: Restricted

The 47T HBR is among the most powerful man-portable ballistic precision weapons fielded by the Hell Hosts.

Designed primarily for anti-materiel operations, the rifle is capable of engaging light armored vehicles, powered armor, equipment, fortified firing positions, and targets concealed behind substantial cover.

Its recoil and weight make the 47T impractical for ordinary infantry use, and specialized training is required to exploit its full capabilities.

A famous story repeated among Hell Host marksmen claims that a 47T projectile once penetrated the outer armor of a light combat vehicle, passed through its operator, exited the opposite side, and embedded itself inside a nearby structure.

Whether the story occurred exactly as soldiers tell it remains disputed.

558 Cycler Sniper Rifle

Full Designation: 558 Cycler Sniper Rifle
Type: Electromagnetically Accelerated Precision Rifle
Role: Extreme-Velocity Precision Engagement
Issue: Elite / Specialist

The 558 Cycler is an unconventional sniper system built around an electromagnetic acceleration assembly.

Before firing, the weapon enters a charging cycle in which its internal capacitors and accelerator systems progressively build energy. The rising output produces the distinctive mechanical and electrical sound that gave the rifle its name.

Once sufficient energy has accumulated, the Cycler launches its projectile at extreme velocity.

Longer charging cycles increase the weapon’s available firing energy, but leave the operator vulnerable while preparing the shot and produce a detectable energy signature.

The result is a weapon capable of extraordinary precision and penetration, but poorly suited to sudden close-range engagements.

Close-Quarters Weapons

A12 Heavy Shotgun

Type: Heavy Combat Shotgun
Role: Breaching / Close-Quarters Combat
Issue: Common among Assault Units

The A12 Heavy Shotgun is a powerful close-range weapon designed for aggressive infantry operations.

Its reinforced construction allows it to fire a wide range of heavy shotgun ammunition, including conventional buckshot, specialized breaching loads, and ammunition designed for hostile environments.

The A12 is particularly common among breachers, urban combat units, boarding teams, and soldiers expected to fight within confined structures.

Its limited effective range is rarely considered a disadvantage by the personnel who choose to carry one.

Y205 SSMG

Full Designation: Y205 Suppressed Submachine Gun
Type: Integrally Suppressed Automatic Weapon
Role: Infiltration / Close Protection
Issue: Specialist

The Y205 SSMG is a compact suppressed weapon designed for operations where signature reduction is more important than raw firepower.

It is commonly associated with covert personnel, reconnaissance teams, close-protection units, and shipboard security.

The weapon’s integrated suppression system significantly reduces muzzle flash and firing signature, although—as with all conventional suppressed firearms—it is not completely silent.

569 GLS

Full Designation: 569 Grenade-Launching Shotgun
Type: Heavy Breaching Weapon
Role: Breaching / Explosive Assault
Issue: Restricted

The 569 GLS is an uncommon multi-purpose assault weapon combining heavy shotgun fire with an integrated grenade-launching system.

Its primary firing system accepts several specialist shotgun loads, including conventional buckshot, breaching ammunition, and incendiary ammunition where authorized.

A secondary system launches explosive projectiles against fortified positions, groups of enemies, and light equipment.

The weapon’s substantial size and ammunition requirements prevent widespread issue, but it is highly valued by shock troops and specialized breaching teams.

Automatic and Support Weapons

H245 LCG

Full Designation: H245 Light Chain Gun
Type: Directed-Energy Support Weapon
Role: Sustained Fire / Squad Support
Issue: Specialist

The H245 LCG is a portable directed-energy support weapon designed to provide sustained fire without relying on conventional ammunition belts.

Its firing assembly delivers rapid energy pulses capable of suppressing infantry and damaging lightly protected targets.

The weapon requires significant power and thermal management, limiting continuous fire despite its considerable output.

Specialized sealed variants have been developed for underwater and hostile-environment operations.

87-CMG

Full Designation: 87 Compact Machine Gun
Type: Compact Automatic Support Weapon
Role: Mobile Suppression
Issue: Common

The 87-CMG provides automatic firepower in situations where a conventional machine gun would be cumbersome.

Its compact construction makes it particularly suitable for vehicle crews, boarding teams, urban combat personnel, and mobile assault formations.

High-capacity feeding systems allow sustained fire despite the weapon’s relatively small dimensions.

948 SMG

Full Designation: 948 Scout Machine Gun
Type: Compact Automatic Weapon
Role: Reconnaissance / Personal Defense
Issue: Specialist

Despite sharing the abbreviation commonly used for submachine guns, SMG in the weapon’s designation refers to Scout Machine Gun.

The 948 is an exceptionally compact automatic weapon intended for personnel who cannot conveniently carry a full-size rifle.

Reconnaissance personnel, pilots, vehicle crews, and specialist operators are among its most common users.

The weapon sacrifices range and sustained-fire capability in exchange for extremely compact dimensions and rapid handling.

71 HC MG

Full Designation: 71 High-Calibre Machine Gun
Type: Heavy Machine Gun
Role: Infantry Suppression / Defensive Fire
Issue: Heavy Weapons Units

The 71 HC MG is a heavy automatic weapon designed to dominate infantry approaches through sustained high-calibre fire.

Its considerable weight usually requires powered assistance, emplacement mounting, vehicle mounting, or dedicated heavy-weapon personnel.

The weapon is particularly effective against massed infantry, light fortifications, and lightly protected vehicles.

An older description circulated among Hell Host personnel rather less formally described its purpose as:

“Mowing down infantry like a bloody lawnmower.”

The description has remained popular for obvious reasons.

Sidearms

P2 PSP

Full Designation: P2 Particle Service Pistol
Type: Particle Sidearm
Role: Standard Service Pistol
Issue: Widespread

The P2 PSP is the standard-issue sidearm of the Hell Hosts and one of the most widely distributed weapons in the faction.

Compact, reliable, and capable of operating across numerous environments, the P2 uses a contained particle-discharge system rather than conventional ballistic ammunition.

Its power is deliberately limited compared with larger energy weapons, allowing the pistol to remain manageable and reducing power consumption.

Countless variants and production generations exist throughout Hell Host service.

For many soldiers, the P2 is the final weapon available when everything else has gone wrong.

PX20

Full Designation: PX20 Suppressed Pistol
Type: Suppressed Ballistic Sidearm
Role: Covert Operations / Reconnaissance
Issue: Specialist

The PX20 is a suppressed conventional pistol frequently issued to reconnaissance personnel, infiltrators, pilots, and other operators requiring a low-signature sidearm.

Unlike the standard P2 PSP, the PX20 uses conventional ammunition and emphasizes reliability, concealability, and reduced firing signature over energy output.

It remains particularly common among units operating behind enemy lines.

CZ PI

Full Designation: CZ Payload Injector
Type: Chemical Delivery Sidearm
Role: Specialist / Capture / Material Disruption
Issue: Highly Restricted

The CZ PI is a compact specialist weapon designed to deliver sealed chemical payloads through high-velocity injector projectiles.

Different authorized payloads can carry sedatives, tracking compounds, paralytic agents, corrosive compounds intended for equipment, and other mission-specific substances.

Its ability to deliver dangerous compounds directly into a target makes the CZ PI heavily controlled.

Military personnel informally continue to call the weapon the Poison Injector, the origin of its older PI designation.

Heavy and Explosive Weapons

C74 LPG

Full Designation: C74 Launch-Propelled Grenade System
Nickname: 74 LPG
Type: Heavy Explosive Launcher
Role: Anti-Vehicle / Anti-Fortification
Issue: Specialist

The C74 LPG is a heavy launcher designed to propel explosive projectiles using an electromagnetic acceleration system.

Older personnel commonly describe its ammunition as “laser-propelled grenades,” an inaccurate but persistent nickname originating from the visible energy discharge produced during firing.

The weapon is primarily used against vehicles, hardened positions, and other targets requiring considerably greater explosive force than ordinary infantry weapons can provide.

39TG SAGL

Full Designation: 39TG Semi-Automatic Grenade Launcher
Type: Explosive Support Weapon
Role: Anti-Vehicle / Area Suppression
Issue: Heavy Weapons Units

The 39TG SAGL is a semi-automatic grenade launcher capable of rapidly engaging light vehicles, fortified positions, and concentrated enemy formations.

Its ability to deliver multiple explosive rounds in rapid succession makes it particularly effective during assaults where conventional infantry weapons cannot efficiently defeat enemy cover.

A range of specialized ammunition exists for different operational requirements.

Atrius IV

Common Designations: A-IV, Aiv
Type: Heavy Pulse Rifle
Role: Heavy Energy Weapon
Issue: Elite / Specialist

The Atrius IV is a powerful charge-operated energy weapon designed to release an enormous pulse in a single discharge.

Before firing, the weapon draws energy into its internal capacitor assembly. Once charged, this stored power is released as a concentrated pulse capable of inflicting catastrophic damage against infantry, hardened positions, and protected targets.

The discharge generates extreme heat and consumes substantial power, requiring a recovery period before the weapon can safely fire again.

Its considerable mass and recoil-like discharge forces make the Atrius IV considerably easier to operate with powered armor or reinforced firing equipment.

It is strongly associated with elite assault formations, including the 892nd Galactic Drop Shock Troopers.

Incendiary Weapons

543 UF

Full Designation: 543 Ultra Flamethrower
Type: Advanced Incendiary Projector
Role: Area Denial / Fortification Clearing
Issue: Specialist

The 543 Ultra Flamethrower is a modern Hell Host incendiary weapon designed for hostile-environment clearing, bunker assaults, biological containment, and specialized eradication operations.

Its advanced fuel mixture can achieve peak combustion temperatures approaching 3,100°C under optimal conditions.

The weapon is therefore capable of inflicting extreme thermal damage and igniting materials resistant to conventional incendiary systems.

The 543 UF is most strongly associated with the 660th Flame Battalion, whose personnel receive extensive training in incendiary warfare and environmental hazard control.

Grenades and Tactical Munitions

H2O Hydro-Thermal Grenade

Common Name: H2O Grenade
Type: Thermal / Pressure Grenade
Issue: Widespread

The H2O Grenade is one of the more unusual munitions found within the Hell Host arsenal.

Following activation, the grenade initiates a six-second reaction sequence. A contained fluid reservoir is subjected to extreme rapid heating, producing superheated vapor and enormous internal pressure.

The casing then ruptures, producing a combined thermal, pressure, and fragmentation effect.

The unusual operating principle allows specialized versions of the H2O Grenade to be used for environmental manipulation, emergency breaching, ice destruction, and underwater operations in addition to its conventional anti-personnel role.

Despite its name, modern variants do not necessarily use ordinary water as their reaction medium.

HB245 IG

Full Designation: HB245 Incendiary Grenade
Type: Incendiary Grenade
Issue: Specialist

The HB245 IG is a dedicated incendiary grenade intended to ignite personnel, equipment, structures, and combustible environments.

Although available throughout the wider military for appropriate operations, the weapon is most closely associated with the 660th Flame Battalion and other incendiary warfare formations.

Its use is considerably less common than conventional fragmentation or tactical grenades due to the obvious risks of deploying incendiary weapons in uncontrolled environments.

459 SG

Full Designation: 459 Obscurant Grenade
Traditional Designation: 459 Smoke Grenade
Type: Tactical Obscurant
Issue: Widespread

The 459 SG is a standard tactical grenade used to rapidly obscure enemy visibility and conceal infantry movement.

Modern variants can interfere with portions of the infrared and thermal spectrum in addition to producing conventional visual obscuration, making the weapon useful against both biological personnel and electronic observation systems.

The same basic delivery casing has historically been adapted for specialized chemical payloads, although such munitions are classified separately and subject to significantly greater authorization restrictions.

The standard 459 SG contains no chemical warfare agent.

Weapon Distribution

Hell Host weapons are not universally restricted to individual formations. Battlefield conditions, supply availability, personal specialization, and mission requirements frequently result in weapons appearing outside their typical units.

  • H2O Hydro-Thermal Grenades
  • Specialist incendiary weapons

The exact equipment used depends heavily upon the threat being eradicated.

Arsenal Doctrine

The Hell Hosts do not consider technological sophistication inherently superior to reliability.

A centuries-old ballistic principle remains useful if it kills the target.

An energy weapon remains useful if it defeats something a ballistic weapon cannot.

A specialist weapon remains useful only for as long as its battlefield advantage justifies its additional complexity.

This philosophy has produced an arsenal where conventional rifles operate alongside particle sidearms, electromagnetic sniper systems, directed-energy support weapons, incendiary projectors, and experimental hybrid firearms.

For Hell Host personnel, the question is rarely whether a weapon is advanced.

The question is whether it works.
