Red Wind

Overview

Real Name: Unknown

Red Wind is a Battalion Commander within the:
Hell Hosts

and one of the faction’s most respected frontline leaders.

Unlike many high-ranking officers, Red Wind has no memory of her life before joining the Hell Hosts.

She remembers only waking in a field hospital during a war, identified as a civilian caught in the middle of a conflict. With no known family, no records, and nowhere to return to, she eventually chose to remain with the soldiers who rescued her.

Over time, Red Wind rose through the ranks through sheer determination, natural leadership, and exceptional combat ability.

Despite her accomplishments, she continues to search for the truth of who she once was.

Appearance

Red Wind stands approximately:

5’7”

with a lean, athletic build.

Notable Features

  • Dark red hair
  • Single white streak in her hair
  • Freckles
  • Small scar across her nose
  • Heterochromia
    • Left Eye: Grey
    • Right Eye: Pale Blue
  • Burn mark on her left hand

The burn mark on her hand is rarely seen, as Red Wind almost always wears gloves.

Armor

Red Wind wears practical combat armor designed for frontline warfare rather than status or ceremony.

Her armor features:

  • Reinforced tactical plating
  • Heavy combat systems
  • Command-grade communications
  • Long black combat cape

Unlike the armor worn by:
Predator
or
Azure Gale

Red Wind’s armor feels functional rather than symbolic.

Many soldiers describe it as:

“The armor of someone who expects to fight beside you.”

Off-Duty Appearance

When alone or among trusted friends, Red Wind commonly wears:

  • Black leggings
  • Oversized dark grey hoodie
  • Low-cut socks
  • Large round reading glasses

In public civilian settings she typically wears:

  • Dark red turtleneck
  • Black cargo trousers
  • Combat boots
  • Soft gloves

Her hair is usually tied back in either a loose ponytail or messy bun.

Personality

Red Wind is:

  • Quiet
  • Thoughtful
  • Compassionate
  • Socially awkward
  • Deeply loyal

Although she can confidently command thousands of soldiers in battle, she struggles in social situations and often feels uncomfortable being the center of attention.

She frequently worries that she is saying the wrong thing and often rehearses conversations in advance.

Emotional State

Despite being surrounded by people who care about her, Red Wind often feels like an outsider.

Part of this stems from her memory loss.

While everyone else possesses:

  • childhood memories
  • family histories
  • personal identities

Red Wind possesses none.

She fears becoming isolated from others and worries that one day she may truly have nowhere she belongs.

Flaws

  • Overthinks social situations
  • Struggles to open up emotionally
  • Places unrealistic expectations on herself
  • Fears disappointing others
  • Carries unresolved anxiety regarding her past

Memory Loss

Red Wind remembers absolutely nothing from before the day she awoke in a Hell Host field hospital.

No:

  • Name
  • Family
  • Homeworld
  • History
  • Memories

Nothing.

Multiple investigations have failed to uncover her origins.

To this day, her true identity remains unknown.

Interestingly, Red Wind has refused to permanently rename herself.

She believes her real name still exists somewhere.

Until she discovers it, she continues using:

Red Wind

as both a title and identity.

Relationships

Destiny

Red Wind’s closest friend.

The two share an unusually strong bond due to their similar experiences with loss and identity.

Where Destiny struggles with losing herself through Ascension, Red Wind struggles with never knowing who she was to begin with.

Notably, Destiny chose:

18th December

as Red Wind’s birthday.

Although Red Wind appreciates the gesture, she secretly dreads the day each year due to the attention it brings.

Predator

Predator was one of the first people to recognize Red Wind’s potential.

Over the years he developed a protective attitude toward her, often treating her almost like a daughter.

If he does, he has never revealed it.
