Cryomede is a frozen oceanic world located within the Aegimius System, known for its endless glaciers, violent ice storms, and hidden subglacial oceans buried beneath miles of frozen crust. Although the planet appears completely lifeless from orbit, vast liquid oceans and ancient geological networks exist deep below the ice.
The surface of Cryomede is dominated by colossal frozen wastelands, fractured ice shelves, and permanent blizzard systems capable of swallowing entire expeditions. Temperatures across much of the planet remain lethally low, forcing most research stations and exploration outposts to operate beneath the surface or within heavily reinforced thermal facilities.
