Profile
The Judge is one of the Omicron Galaxy’s most feared independent hunters.
Once a highly respected member of the Hell Hosts, he abandoned military service after becoming disillusioned with the galaxy’s justice systems. Having witnessed war criminals, slavers, pirates and corrupt leaders repeatedly evade punishment, he reached one conclusion:
If justice refuses to act…
Then someone else will.
Since disappearing from military records, The Judge has travelled the galaxy hunting those he believes have escaped justice. Unlike bounty hunters, he accepts no contracts, demands no payment and answers to no government.
He chooses his own targets.
Philosophy
The Judge does not consider himself an executioner.
He considers himself the final stage of justice.
Before confronting a target, he spends days or weeks gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses and confirming every accusation. By the time he arrives…
The trial is already over.
In his mind, the verdict has already been delivered.
Personality
Unlike many assume, The Judge is neither insane nor bloodthirsty.
He is calm.
Focused.
Relentlessly determined.
His anger is controlled rather than explosive, making him all the more intimidating.
He speaks more than most masked vigilantes, often confronting his targets directly before attacking.
He rarely shouts.
He never begs.
And he never apologises.
Combat
The Judge is infamous for his overwhelming aggression.
He begins engagements with disciplined firearm accuracy before rapidly closing the distance, transitioning into brutal close-quarters combat.
If his ammunition runs dry…
He continues.
If his weapons break…
He continues.
If he is wounded…
He continues.
His philosophy is simple:
“If you’re still standing…
I haven’t finished.”
His combat style combines military precision with overwhelming violence, making him one of the most dangerous close-quarters fighters in the galaxy.
Weapons
Verdict
A heavily modified 8-gauge pump-action combat shotgun.
The Judge’s signature weapon.
Built for devastating close-range engagements.
Sentence
An oversized heavy revolver carried as his sidearm.
Reserved for executions and precision shots.
Appeal
A military combat knife carried from his days within the Hell Hosts.
Despite years of sharpening and repairs, he refuses to replace it.
Gavel
A reinforced breaching axe capable of destroying doors, armour and fortifications with equal efficiency.
Appearance
Armour
The Judge wears heavily modified black combat armour assembled from decades of repairs and salvaged equipment.
Every plate bears scratches, dents and evidence of previous battles.
A long, tattered black military coat hangs over the armour.
No faction insignia remains.
Helmet
A reinforced black assault helmet featuring a narrow visor and reinforced jaw protection.
Its intimidating silhouette has become synonymous with The Judge himself.
Many recognise the helmet long before they recognise the man.
Without the Helmet
Beneath the armour is a weathered veteran in his late forties.
Short dark hair, streaked with grey.
Heavy stubble.
Multiple facial scars.
A broken nose that healed imperfectly.
His face reflects decades of warfare.
Reputation
The Judge is feared by criminals, warlords and corrupt officials throughout the Omicron Galaxy.
Unlike mercenaries or bounty hunters, he cannot be bribed, threatened or negotiated with.
Many organisations have attempted to eliminate him.
None have succeeded.
His arrival on a planet often causes criminal organisations to abandon entire operations before he reaches them.
Relationships
Hell Hosts
Many veterans respect his military service while condemning the path he ultimately chose.
Some secretly sympathise with his beliefs.
Others consider him a dangerous vigilante.
Bounties Legion
The Judge and the Bounties Legion frequently find themselves pursuing the same targets.
Where bounty hunters seek capture…
The Judge seeks finality.
The Syndicate
The Syndicate considers The Judge an unpredictable variable.
Likewise, The Judge has hunted multiple Syndicate clients responsible for atrocities.
